Please give us a short summary of your website?
ProPipper.com is the site of Pro Pipper Trading. We provide our members with forecasts, signals and analysis strictly directed at the Forex (Foreign Exchange) market. We also find that traders (of all markets) are unique and expect the finer things in life. We provide traders with articles and information on high end products and services they may find useful or interesting, such as private air transportation, exotic cars and high end real estate listings.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I have been trading the Forex markets for many years now and enjoy doing it. My main methodology for analyzing the markets is Elliott Wave. I have found that traders either love it or hate it. There are 2 sides to the story. I am one of the few that utilize a very powerful software tool to analyze the Forex markets through Elliott Wave by comparing the current market with millions of true life patterns of the past.
The website allows me to showcase my analysis to my members and show that the methodology of Elliott Wave analys is very strong when used correctly. No one will always be right in the markets, but if you can determine your probabilites before entering a trade, that will help you determine and utilize effective money management.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Each market has a name for the measure of change within the market. In the Forex market, the smallest measure of change in a currency.
Throughout my years of trading, I have heard many clever uses of the word. Coming from a Marketing background, I wanted the company name to be more than just a Forex term, but to have the ability to market it worldwide on a variety of different levels.
We have come up with many different slogans and tag lines off the word "Pipper." People that are in the Forex market know exactly what it is.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We differ in two ways. First, our analysis combines many technical and fundamental factors that gives our forecasts a higher probability of being correct. Again, no one is going to be correct all the time and people can expect to make losing trades, thus losing money. However, before we post an analysis, it usually passes all of our criteria. Occasionally, we will post something that passes the majority of our criteria, but we always mention the fact that although highly probable, we will wait and watch the market before entering a trade. We also like to teach the practive of good money management to our members. A lot of forecasts we post are actual trades we place in the market.
Secondly, our price is a major difference. I've seen some outrageous pricing for analysis and signals. Those sites may very well be worth it, however, we like to keep our prices very reasonable. Trading, like any other business, takes money to start and traders know (or should know) they could lose all their money as well. These, amongst other factors, already put a monetary strain on the trader, thus effecting their minds when trading. When trading, you're mind must be clear and focussed and not thinking about all the money you laid out just to start trading.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My eventual goal is to keep the website and expand it. There are several ways to get involved (business wise) with the markets and I'd like to see Pro Pipper Trading expand into the majority of those.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I love trading so if I can help other traders reach their goals, it's definitely worth it for me.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Keeping our business goals in mind, I would expand the company to cover all aspects on the business side of trading.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes. We have a full plan in place to expand our services. If that comes earlier than projected, we're ready to go.
What has been your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge thus far has been sticking to our timeline in our business plan. We have seen when businesses expand too quickly when they're not prepared for it. We're starting off walking - there's plenty of time to run later.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Overall, a good SEO and Internet marketing campaign. I like to plan things out and not start something blindly and in the middle say to myself, "now what?" I have worked out a strategic plan that will get us exposure in both related and non-related industries.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I started a little less than a year ago with ProPipper.com. My plans are to continue running it so I can hopefully play a part in some trader's success. I also want to continue to showcase high end products and services because there's more to life than just trading. You also need to go out and have fun.
