Please give us a short summary of your website?

We cover the strategic issues involved in hiring and firing hedge fund and other alternative investment managers. We take no prisoners.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

It’s an important area and one that is rarely written about honestly. I thought I could make a contribution.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I’m not sure I have a name, yet.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Radical honesty. I write about things no one else in the industry will write about, such as how to tell if your hedge fund manager is lying to you and how to evaluate industry gossip.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I'm trying to develop a product.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I’ve gotten a lot of industry press, but have made no money.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would hire a programmer so I could make my site more interactive.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Sure.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Almost no costs other than my time. Headaches have all been programming and promotion oriented.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Developing a product.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Writing good copy.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I didn’t know what I was getting into when I started this. I just knew that doing this was important.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Not sure.

Would you do it again?

Absolutely. Everyone needs something only they control. This is mine.
