Now, the stock market may be rallying as a positive response to the government bailout plan. However, more than a month ago, investors were a little pessimistic over the details (or lack of it) of the bailout plan.

Mixed reactions reported as Obama encourage stock buying

Mixed media reactions were reported when President Obama personally handed out investment tips to investors. It can be remembered that he had said that the time is now right to buy equities since the price-to-earning ratios, according to him, are favorable.

While some media outfits deemed this kind of optimism as something that we all need, others reminded him that the comment may be embarrassing when stocks suddenly fall.
