Up to this day, I keep on wondering why people invest or start in a scheme that they know will collapse at some point, such as a Ponzi scheme. There is no real business in a scheme where people earn money from other members who invest in it.

And after the fall, the results can be disastrous for the initiator, like this man from Florida who has swindled more than $20 million from University of Miami employees.
