Please give us a short summary of your website?

Investor Profile clients can invest online and use our market leading administration platform to consolidate all of their investments in to one place.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To provide a better deal for clients so they can view all of their investments online with up to date valuations 24/7.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first and only website.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted to convey that everyone has different investment styles and needs and that we can consolidate all of them with our service.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

No other website can offer the administration service that we offer. That is, no other firm can offer clients the facility to view all of their investments in one place, including bonds, endowments, pensions, ISAs, shares etc as well as allowing clients to deal online as well.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To provide a home for as many clients as possible and make the maximum use of technology to do this at low cost.

How do you view success?

We want to be able to provide a simple, effective service that gives the client everything they need and want and not over-complicate things.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Money doesn't always buy great client service. At Investor Profile we concentrate on keeping our costs low so we can pass these cost efficiencies to our clients.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes. We work hard on our systems and processes to ensure we are ready for any given level of business.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Nothing has really been that unexpected so far. We always knew there would be hurdles to overcome in getting a business like this going.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting the systems and processes right so that they all work with each other in a way that appears simple to the end user.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth over the internet is very effective. Things can snowball very quickly.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

We have the ability to really provide our clients with what they want - that's pretty exciting.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We've been going for a while now and will continue until we achieve what we want.
