My Legal Advance -- Source for Cash advances on lawsuits Interview

By Interviewer at 07/29/07 13:15

Name of your website?

My Legal Advance -- Source for Cash advances on lawsuits

Your name?

Jason Argall

Your Location (city, etc)

Clearwater, FL

What inspired you to launch your own website?

This is a great and exciting business to be in. When I'm considering whether to do a website or do a business deal I always ask myself two questions. The first question is inspired by Benjamin Franklin's Noblest question in the world: "What good may I do in it?" The second question is inspired by Richard Branson. I ask, "Is that exciting?" For me, lawsuit cash advance is an area that is exciting and I can help people. So it was perfect for me to build a site for it.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I'm not the most experience designer, as you can probably tell from the site, but I did study HTML when I was twelve. I made some pages from raw HTML scripting, but mylegaladvance.com is my first published site.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

My partner Chris actually decided on it.

Please give us a short summary of your website?

It consist of five main pages that provide useful information on lawsuit cash advance loans.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We are truly customer service oriented. One of the most motivating factors in starting this business was seeing how disorganized and inept many of the companies in this space are. We knew that we could make the difference in customer service. And since we deliver funds the fastest and have the lowest rates, we think we'll be able to expand very quickly.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We would like to keep this company for income.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

One lesson I learned from many of the earlier business experiences and it was also taught in Hawkin's "Growing a Business" is that over-funding can be very dangerous to a business. Because of this, I prefer to run a business first-hand for approximately 4-6 months before investing a lot of money. I think it's good for the Captain of a ship to be able to wear any hat in that ship. I think if you can't do this it can result in camoflauged holes--where people seem like they're doing their jobs but they're not.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I wouldn't change anything drastically. I believe in the power of simplicity.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, absolutely.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Some testing we've done for different marketing techniques ended up costing more than expected.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Referrals.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It hasn't

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

About a month.

What are your plans for the future?

I'd like to continue to expand my businesses. I want to see those businesses positively impact my environment. I want to create a great environment for my local community and my family.

What is your website address?
