Please give us a short summary of your website?
It is all about land for sale on Lombok. I contacted owners that want to sell their land and put all the informations and pictures on the page.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To get informations all over the world the web is the best medium I guess.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
That was in 2005 and it was a site for a company that sells silver.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Well, if you buy land it is an investment and since we offer land on Lombok the name Lombokinvest was not so far away.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
The people I cooperate with have long time experience. There are lawyers to process the sales, Project manager that control the errection of your house, hotel or resort, foreigners that live in Indonesia for years to tell you how to start a business here and many others. WI dont leave my customer alone after sales.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Of course I want to expand our business all over Indonesia. I have excellent contacts to people all over the archipelago and we intend to use it.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I am online since 28th of December 2007 and so far it took us not more then the money for a good meal in a resto.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I guess I would travel around asia and collect information about land- and property sales.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None so far, Im not new in the business and it goes as expected.
What has been your biggest challenge?
To make the owner of the land trust me.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
In the past I posted as many blogs as possible and tried to get heaps of one-way links to the pages I promoted. I didnt care about pagerank and it worked out nicely.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It did not at all.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
1 day so far and I do not intend to stop unless the headlines in the news are: "Planet Earth sold out".
