What inspired you to launch your own website?

www.investorseurope.com in 2002 the mother site for Global Stock Brokers
How did you decide on a name for your website?
True online Global Stock Broking for stocks, CFDS, bonds, futures, FOREX was just a dream in 2001 but we are nearly there now. Within 5 years there will be one unified global stock broking platform capable of doing all these products worldwide.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Offshore in Europe on the doorstep, British and the largest selection of Offshore Trading Platforms available anywhere.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
This is a family business and it will be handed down
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
If you love doing something it is not an investment of your time but a very satisfying nurturing process, like bringing up a young child to Adulthood.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, within a couple of days. We have good IT support.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
You should expect the unexpected every day in every way, otherwise you will get ulcers.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Myself. People who run marathons will understand.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Sheer hard work and dedication and a 5 year in-house strategy to bring GSB (investorseurope) to the top of the heap on the Web as an Offshore Stock Broker
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
The pace of it all means being on the ball every day, adapting to developments; whether you are 20 years old or 53, the demands are tough and the same for both so you need to keep your body fit so you can keep the brain functioning efficiently.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
since 2002...whatever it takes.. a marathon is a marathon so long as you know you are in one!
