Freund Investing provides stock market investment advice for the intelligent investor. To do so, we publish stock market investment advice through both articles and the Investment Advisor Newsletter.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
It was difficult to get into the stock analysis field without knowing someone. So I decided to go out on my own.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is my first website. FreundInvesting.com launched in August, 2007.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
My last name is Freund!
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I get fantastic returns. Plain and simple. You can see them at:

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep it for income and hopefully get 1000 subscribers to my newsletter, the Investment Advisor.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I spend at least 60 hours a week and very little money. If I can do it without having to pay someone, I'm all for it.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would submit my site to all kinds of directories and create a very high end PPC marketing campaign.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Building the first website cost way more than it should have... I got duped.
What has been your biggest challenge?
The technical aspect of web design and SEO.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Search engine optimization, by FAR.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It's a lot more work than I anticipated. SEO takes lots of time and patience to do well.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I've run FreundInvesting.com for 6 months and I'll continue to run it forever. I love it.
