Stocks ended the week on a sad note, when the Dow Jones industrial average fell down by 0.8% or 63 points. Worse-than-expected retailer reports and news that General Motors will end dealership contracts are said to be the reasons behind this falldown.
This is the first time the major indexes fell down after nine weeks of consecutive gains.
